Wine Summary
Move over Italy, Argentina is centre stage in this characterful, refreshing Pinot Grigio. Alma Andina’s vineyards lie at 3,000 feet in the Andes foothills, where bright sunlight and cool nights coax the very best qualities from this grape variety. Ex-pat Aussie Steve McEwen then gets to work. Steve arrived in Argentina in 1998, having worked in the Barossa Valley, France, Spain, Italy, Israel and Chile. He fell in love with the country and its people (and a local lass) and decided to stay to craft amazing wines like this one. The wine’s ripe peach, pear and crisp apple character makes it a mouthwatering aperitif. It’s great too with salads, lighter sushi plates and a variety of seafood dishes.
