Wine Summary
Release the beast...! Deep, dark and dangerously easy to drink, Rex Mundi is a beguiling black beauty created by Parker rated winemaker Herve? Sabardeil, whose lavish elixirs have been wowing lovers of rich reds for over a decade. Herve? uses Syrah and Grenache from the very oldest vines – some over 100 years in age – grown on the finest slate soils of Maury in the Languedoc Roussillon region. As you might imagine, yields are minute, which accounts for the depth of colour and intensity of flavour.
