The fruit for the Three Vineyards Pinot Gris is hand-picked from three of McPherson’s premium vineyards. The vineyards benefit from warm sunny days and cool evening temperatures - perfect conditions for the growing of good quality Pinot Gris. The growers harvest the grapes during the cool of night to maintain fruit freshness, before they’re gently pressed to release the free run juice crafted into this lovely wine. Lovely notes of spiced pear, lime and lychee and hints of passionfruit, with similar characters reflected on the palate. Tropical fruit comes to the fore on tasting before the zing of citrus kicks in.
